Village Point Improvement District will be holding this year’s Annual General Meeting on Sunday, April 26 a@ 1pm in the Mayne Island Community Centre. ***Please note Sunday, April 26 is the corrected date and an email communication has been sent to all homeowners.***
The AGM is the time when new trustees are elected, either by vote or acclamation. This year we have two trustees whose terms are ending so we are seeking at least two candidates for our Board of Trustees. Serving as an Improvement District Trustee is an important role in rural community governance, and while it is a commitment, it’s also very rewarding to be an important part of providing a vital community service. Nominations must be received by 4:00pm on Friday, April 3rd, 2026. Nominations will not be received from the floor at the Annual General Meeting.
