Boil Water Advisory: Update August 13

We communicated with the Vancouver Island Health Authority (VIHA) yesterday about the boil water advisory. They requested water samples for this week (already sent) and next week (to be sent next Tuesday). If both samples are “clean” – that is, they contain no bacteria, we can request that advisory be lifted.

We continue to have critically low storage. Usage was quite high last weekend, and in addition there was a new leak on a property which was detected by the homeowner and immediately shut off, but only after a significant loss of water. We are hoping that we will be able to continue rebuilding our storage this week.

Thanks as always for your patience and conservative water use.
