We are pleased to announce that that we believe we may have resolved the problem at the treatment plant that has been restricting our capacity to pump water from our wells and replenish storage. Over the next few days we will gain a more accurate understanding of how much we are able to increase our pumping.
In the meantime, we will still be receiving trucked-in water this Friday and Saturday evenings. The boil water advisory will most likely remain in effect until we are able to increase storage, and, ideally, eliminate all current leaks. Conservation remains critical. Please be mindful of this if you are on Mayne this weekend, and inform any guests/visitors/tenants of the need to minimize water use. Our water usage yesterday July 31st was quite high – over 18,000 gallons.
Once again, thank you for your patience and understanding.
