Water storage at the treatment plant remains very low. We continue to bring in truckloads of water as we attempt to locate a significant leak on Mariners and increase our capacity to pump water into the treatment plant.
The trustees and operations team are working hard to resolve this issue. The trustees are very grateful for efforts to conserve. Water use is down significantly from normal for this time of year, and that’s a HUGE help at this time. Please keep it up.
Again, if you have any flexibility in your plans to be on Mayne over the next while, please consider postponing your visit.

Boil Water Advisory: Update July 23, 1pm
The Boil Water Advisory remains in effect (see below). Water storage at the treatment plant remains critically low. We have several truckloads of water coming in the next few days and we hope to increase our capacity to pump water into the plant soon. We also have a leak that we are working on isolating and repairing.
Your VPID trustees and operations team are working hard to resolve this issue. We appreciate your support, patience, and willingness to do whatever you can to help reduce water consumption. If you have any flexibility in your plans to be on Mayne in the new few days, please consider postponing your visit.
