Our operations team was able to locate two leaks today, one on Dalton Drive and a second on Spinnaker. The leaks were on homeowner properties and water to these properties has been shut off, pending repairs by the homeowners. We are optimistic that this will significantly reduce our daily outflow numbers.
Nevertheless, our storage levels are extremely low, so we plan to continue our partial district shut-down tonight, starting at 11 pm and ending at 8 am tomorrow. Tonight Dalton Drive, Dinner Bay Road, Lundy Lane and Leighton Lane will not receive water during these hours.
At the risk of being overly repetitive, we remind you once again that no matter where you live in the water district, please try to minimize your use of water over the next few days. We have trucked water coming in on Monday and again later in the week, so with any luck we will be able to restore our storage to more comfortable levels by the end of next week.
