You’re Invited! VPID Fall Open House – September 20

The Village Point Improvement District (VPID) Board of Trustees warmly invites all community members to our Fall Open House at the Adachi Pavilion, Dinner Bay Park, on Saturday, September 20, from 4:00 – 5:30 pm.

This year has been one of change, challenge, and growth for VPID, and we’d love for you to come together with us to connect, share, and celebrate.

✨ Celebrating Our People

  • After many years of dedicated service, Moira McCulloch has stepped down as Administrator/Bookkeeper. Please join us in thanking her for her contributions and in welcoming David Birch, our new Administrator/Bookkeeper.
  • On the operations side, we’ve welcomed two new technicians, Corvynn Rosser and Sean Burkholder, while saying farewell to Colton Emmerson, who has moved on to BC Emergency Health Services.
  • After nearly a decade of steady leadership, Ian Cocker is transitioning from Operations Manager into an advisory role. Stepping into his shoes is Corvynn Rosser, who will serve as Acting Operations Manager before taking on the position permanently later this year.

✨ Looking Ahead Together

We’ll share our plans for taking a big-picture look at VPID operations this fall as we work toward a more sustainable future for our water system. We’ll also set aside time for your questions, ideas, and conversation.

✨ Why Come?

This is a chance to:

  • Meet and welcome the people who keep our water flowing
  • Show gratitude to those who’ve served our community
  • Hear about what’s next for VPID
  • Enjoy light refreshments and connect with neighbours

We hope you’ll drop by Dinner Bay Park on Saturday, September 20. Your presence makes a difference — this is your water system, and your community.
